- Participant digital badges provide an opportunity to recognize individuals who participate in a large-scale districtwide event.
- Presenter digital badges demonstrate an individual's knowledge, skills, and ability to facilitate faculty development opportunities at large-scale districtwide events.
When planning for participant and presenter digital badges, applicants are encouraged to determine if the event could lend itself to a pathway of career readiness and additional digital badges at the practitioner, developer, and mentor levels.
Applications for participant and presenter badges must meet the following qualifications:
- must be offered districtwide;
- must be designed for a minimum of 80 attendees;
- must explain how participants will engage in the learning process and active learning learning (breakout sessions, discussions, hands-on, etc.).
